Film Festival

Hey guys! I just received word that my short flm "Creation" is going to be showing at the Rochester International Film Festival. How very exciting! Me and two hermanos from Vancouver Film School had our films chosen - 26 films were chosen out of however many entries, which is really cool! I didn't even think my school would be submitting my film to any festivals and certainly didn't think it ever stood a chance of being picked anywhere, so I'm in a double state of shock about the whole thing.

The festival organizers want the filmmakers to come to New York if they're able, but because it's right when Bret and I will be moving to Minnesota (plus they're showing my film on a Thursday, the buggers) and starting my new job, I can't go. Sad! It would be a great opportunity, but if anything comes of it I guess I'll find out, erm, via email.
